UK 7 Day Forecast
Valid from Friday February 12th 2010 to
Thursday February 18th 2010
Another cold week for the UK, continuing the over all theme of a bitterly cold Winter, punctured only by sporadic milder bouts of weather.
To the north, cold by day and night, with daytime values struggling to breach freezing point at times, especially when the wind chill is factored in. Expect some night frosts and early morning fog patches. No substantial snow to talk of, although their will be some wintry showers from time to time, at all levels. Winds generally light to brisk and from a northerly direction.
To the south, marginally better temperatures. Temperatures above freezing by daytime, just dipping below with the wind chill factor added in. Night time temperatures below freezing, with frost and fog a threat. Some wintry showers to be expected, chiefly over higher ground, with a rain/sleet mix at lower levels. Winds generally light to brisk and from a northerly direction.
Turning somewhat milder with some rain for the following week.
