UK 7 Day Forecast
Valid from Friday March 12th 2010 to
Thursday March 18th 2010
An unsettled period of weather, but albeit temporary, temperatures now gaining upwards momentum to the south.
To the north then, a mixture of dry and occasionally sunny days, but also some gloomy days with some rain around too, but amounts won't be great. Temperatures around the 5 to 6 Celsius mark during the daytime, falling away to around freezing overnight. Night frosts are still a lingering threat for a time, before the wind turns more south westerly, and combined with increased cloud cover, removes this threat for a time.
To the south, some rain showers around too, but also some pleasant, drier, early Spring like conditions, especially with temperatures pushing into high single figures. Night frosts won't be problem, with temperatures comfortably above freezing. Winds will be brisk to moderate for a time, and from a south westerly direction.
Staying unsettled for the following week, and with a change in wind direction to the north, a curtain call for Winter.
