Wales   A largely dry but cold day for Mid and North Wales with some pleasant spells of January sunshine.  To the South and South West, expect a different story, with some dry weather, but also some showers, which will fall as a wintry mix over higher ground.  During the evening, rain will spread to all parts of Wales, some of it heavy and persistent, but temperatures should hold up enough for it to fall as rain for most areas with the exception of higher ground.  Feeling cold, very windy.
